They’ve been in business since 1997 – which means this is their 20^th year in business.

888’s also on the London Stock Exchange – making them one of the only online gambling companies to have gone and be public.

The benefit to their time in business and being a public company is knowing they’re a safe place to come and play. They’re not going to screw you over like so many of these ‘other’ online gambling sites.

But do they offer a fun and entertaining place to come bet? And, are they the right choice for you?

You can use the following methods to cash out your winnings.

Payments take up to 1 day to process. From there it can take 1-7 days to clear your account.

There appears to be no fees, and it sounds like payments are made quickly. But this is something you’d expect from a public company such as 888.

Last thing – winnings larger than $30,000 may be cashed out in payments of $30,000 per month (at 888’s discretion).

888sport.com offers several bonuses – some are evergreen, but most are not. The following list is of their evergreen offers, along with details on what you get. After that I talk briefly of their limited time deals and their VIP program.

New customers will get treble (3x) their winnings on their first bet. You’ll also get a $5 casino bonus. The min bet is $5 and the max is $10. You can only make single and straight line multiple bets. Winnings from the casino bonus will have a 30x rollover before you can cash out.

Place 3+ in-play bets of at least $10 on any Saturday Premier League, Scottish Premier League, La Liga or Bundesliga matches and 888 will give you a $5 free bet to use for any in-play match the following day. The minimum odds you need to bet are 1/2 (1.5).

Make a minimum $5 bet on either Win-Draw-Win or Correct Score markets on English Premier League, Championship, Scottish Premiership, La Liga, Bundesliga or Champions League. If a goal is scored after the 88^th minute to the end of normal regulation time – which causes your bet to lose – you’ll get a refund (as a free bet) worth up to $25.

Place a bet of at least $5 on odds of 1/2 (1.5) on any bet (single or multiple) on the market of your choice. The bigger the price of the winning bet, the further up the leaderboard you’ll get. The winner of the leaderboard will get $888, while the other 9 winners will get a piece of the remaining $1,112 prize pool ($2,000 total each week). The bigger the risk you take, the higher you’ll climb up the leaderboard if your bet wins.

These are their evergreen offers. But they have several limited time offers, too. For example, you could claim:

• A free bet if Costa scores first in a Chelsea v Man City match.
• Get double to quadruple winnings during the Masters. Just place 5 live bets of $10+ each. You’ll get up to $5 to use on any Masters bet thereafter (which you can use up to 3 additional times).
• Get double winnings on the IPL. This offer is identical to the previous Masters offer.
• Get double winnings on PL Darts. This offer is identical to the two previous offer.
• Free bets with Euro double. Make 3 doubles on the Champions League/Europa League of at least $5 (one each on Tues, Wed and Thurs). You’ll get a $5 free bet before the weekend.

And so on. If you decide to join 888, it’d be a good idea to hop onto their mailing list and to also bookmark their promotions page. Because many of their offers have life spans of 1-4 months. This way you’ll hear about new offers as soon as they’re available to the public.

888sport also has a VIP program. But this program is “by invitation only,” which means you’ll probably need to be a big, consistent spender to get an invitation.

VIP perks include free bets, tickets to live sporting events, gadgets, invites to global VIP events, chances to win cash, and so on.

I think it’s great they have a VIP program for big spenders. But I also think they should have something for everyone else. Even something as simple as a comp points to cashback program would go a long ways.

This section is going to cover the sports and markets you can bet on, as well as your betting options and limits.

They have (betting) rules for each sport, which you’ll find here. It’s a good idea to be familiar with the rules of the sport you want to bet – that way you won’t have any bets – and winnings! – voided/canceled.

They don’t say anything about betting limits that I could find. But according to other sources the min bet is $.10. They don’t list a max bet, though they do say the max payout per player is $250,000. But they don’t say if that’s per bet, day, week, month, etc.

It might even be on a case by case basis. Because, from what I’ve read, it looks as if 888sport is quick to limit large / professional bettors. If they think you’re a sharp, they’ll limit your account. So maybe that’s why they don’t bother posting their max limits?!

888sport offers live betting, too.

When I checked them out they offered action on basketball, soccer, handball, ice hockey, snooker, tennis and volleyball matches. And if you look in their popular/search field, you’ll see they also cover cricket and golf. I’d bet they cover most major sports (like the NFL and MLB), too.

Something I didn’t see on their site is a live streaming option. But according to other experts this option does exist. You can watch everything from soccer to table tennis on both your PC or mobile device. Live horse racing requires a minimum bet of $1, but it doesn’t look like there are any other requirements for other sports.

Their website is mobile responsive. But they also have a mobile website, as well as an app for Apple users. You can get the app by giving them your email (they’ll send you a link), scanning the QR code or giving them your number so they can text it to you.

It doesn’t look like there’s an app for Android users. But I don’t think it’s needed. I checked their mobile site out on a newer iPhone and everything looked/functions just fine – though with as many markets/bets as 888sport offers, you should be prepared for lots of scrolling.

It’s pretty simple – if you want to bet sports – or gamble on pretty much anything else – and do it safely online – you can do it all with an 888sport account.

But don’t mistake this for hype. We’re not the only ones who recommend them. If you take a look around the web, you’ll notice that all the authoritative sports betting review portals think highly of them, too. Most sites have given them grades of As and Bs.

They’re not perfect in every way, of course. They’re not the best option for sharps (try Pinnacle instead), and I’ve also seen reviews that suggest their live streaming can be improved. I also wish they’d be more transparent about their limits, which I assume exist since they do limit how much you can win overall.

Money keeps disappearing from my 888 sportsbook account without me placing bets. Asked the helpdesk for help but they can't give a explanation and won't issue a refund. Avoid this bookie at al costs. Very bad news.

Do not use 888 sport . Scam website. Had bet 900usd and won 700 usd and they refuse to pay . Reason isbetting pattern need to be inverstigate and that was my first bet on 888 sport. Scam website. They close my account and never pay back the deposit.

Extremely poor customer service. Plus they say they will withdraw your money within one business day but will still be harassing you to reverse the same withdrawal three days later. They will publish incorrect in play scores and then tell you tough luck when you complain. They will be rude and they will even goad you when you have a ligitimate complaint. I have used most of the online gambling websites and 888sport offer by far the worst customer service I have ever experienced.
