Review of Box 24 Casino in 2017

If not, no worries. You’re going to learn all about them in our review below. But first, a little primer.

Box 24 is one of several properties owned and operated by Deck Media. Deck Media has been in the space for about a decade now.

What I like about their network of casinos is that they’re not all the same. Deck Media didn’t just stamp out 10 casinos with the same offers and games, and expect everyone to care.

What they do instead is use a different combination of software companies for each company. Some casinos will have one software provider, while others will have 3 or 5. That way each one has something unique to offer – something worthwhile for you to check out.

That said, they’re not all 100% unique.

For example, take Box 24 Casino – they’re similar to a couple Deck Media properties, such as Black Diamond Casino and Spartan Slots. So, if you’re familiar with one of those casinos, then chances are you don’t need to read this review. I suggest you read our Sloto’Cash or Miami Club reviews instead.

Deposit Methods

Here are the banking options you can use to fund your Box 24 account:

The min deposit you can make is $25.

The min cash out is $100, and you can use the following options:

Cash out fees vary between the option you use and how much you cash out. But you should expect to pay at least $10, and as much as $30. Keep in mind that’s on top of whatever fees you’re charged on your end from your bank or service provider.

Another thing – Box 24 only processes cash out requests between Monday and Friday. And you should expect requests to take up to 3 days to complete.

That’s about it.

One thing I think is pretty impressive is their cash out limits. The max cash out is $35,000 per week. Granted, this IS based on your VIP level. It starts out as $1,000 per week for Bronze VIPs – which isn’t impressive – and peaks at $35,000 – which is impressive. So, you may have to play for a bit to see if you’ll get to cash out enough money each week to make you happy. Otherwise one of Box’s sister casinos (with a $2,500+ weekly cash out limit) might be a better option.

One thing I didn’t see, but wish I did, is bitcoin as a banking option. Some of Deck Media’s casinos accept it, while others don’t. But considering how almost all of their casinos accept US players, bitcoin should be a standard option.

I contacted Box 24’s customer support during my review. Because after contacting another casino (Black Diamond Casino) and not having the best experience, I thought it was necessary to see if Box 24 is any better.

Unfortunately, it’s not.

I contacted them to ask about their bonus. Because, like their other casinos, this particular offer isn’t clear in terms of limits and how much you need to wager to fully clear it. Box 24 also impose limits on how much of your winnings you can cash out while using bonus money. According to their terms and conditions they base your limits on your VIP level.

I don’t think that’s fair – at least how I understand the offer and terms. But I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt – an opportunity to clear things up. So, I emailed them with a couple of questions.

Here’s the email I sent:

Pretty straightforward. However, there response was anything but. Here’s what they had to say:

You see what I mean? This doesn’t answer my question at all. But I decided to give them one more chance – I responded, telling them their reply didn’t clear things up for me and asking if they could answer my original questions.

Their response was almost identical to the first one.

Now, don’t get me wrong – both responses were friendly – fast, too, considering I received both replies less than 30 minutes after sending my emails.

This is a good example of why I wished Box 24 (and Black Diamond) offer live chat support to non-customers. Because I can see them losing a lot of potential business when they fail to answer questions that are preventing people from signing up and depositing.

They have some work to do in this department.

Box 24 has a core welcome offer, as well as daily reload bonuses. Here are the details.

This offer is a 500% match bonus on each of your first five deposits. They don’t say what their max is – I had to find that elsewhere – it’s $5,000.

The same goes for their rollover – it’s not clear what the rollover is for this bonus. Their terms give you a couple different ones, which depend on the specific offer you’re claiming. It can either be a 25x (bonus + deposit), 99x the bonus (for free bonus money) or 75x the bonus (for sign-up bonuses).

Part of my confusing comes from their terminology. They call the offer above a welcome deposit bonus. If I understand them correctly, I’d assume you’d use the 25x (deposit + bonus) rollover. But, this is a technically a ‘sign-up bonus,’ which means you’d need to wager the 75x instead.

I don’t know, and their support wasn’t able to clear it up for me. So, I recommend assuming the rollover is 50x – which is reasonable – but could be either 75 or 99x – both of which are not reasonable.

And don’t forget, these rollovers apply to slots and keno players. But if you choose to play a different game the rollover might be higher.

• The contribution rate is 100% for all slot games;
• The contribution rate is 20% for video poker;
• The contribution rate is 10% for roulette, casino war, mini-baccarat, keno and weed whacker;
• The contribution rate is 2.5% for blackjack.

This means that, if you play video poker, you’ll have to wager anywhere from 250x to almost 500x. It doesn’t really matter to me which, though – I wouldn’t take the bonus anyway.

Should you? I don’t know – you’ll have to make that call for yourself. But there are better bonuses out there, for both slots and non-slots players.

I found something else in their terms and conditions that I’m not a fan of. You’ll remember I asked them about this in my email from above.

I noticed that they limit the amount of money you can cash out (of the money you win using the bonus money), which is based on your VIP level.

This was pulled verbatim from their terms and conditions.

I contacted support to see how exactly this works. If it works just how it sounds – you’re limited to how much you can cash out of the money you’ve won – I think this is a HUGE mark against them.

If it’s just the bonus money, then whatever – I don’t have a problem with that. Many online casinos don’t let you cash out the bonus money. They only let you cash out the money you win with it.

I don’t think there should be any restrictions on that money. But it sounds as if that’s what Box 24 does. And they missed the chance to clear things up for me when I emailed them asking about it.

These are reload bonuses you can claim daily. And they’re different each day. For example, on Monday you can get a 200% match on a $200 deposit, as well as a 150% match bonus on deposits up to $200. But then on Tuesday, you can claim 4 different offers, all with different match percentages and min/max deposits.

Box 24 also runs tournaments. The general idea behind most of these is you play games – slots, blackjack, or whatever’s permitted – and as you do you earn points. These points will establish your position on a leaderboard.

For some tournaments, the winner (1^st place) wins the whole prize pool. For others, the prize pool is distributed over the top X players. It just depends on the tournament.

It looks like their tournament change often, too, so if that’s something you’re interested in, you’ll want to bookmark their tournaments page or get on their mailing list so you’re notified when they start. Because if you join late it might be too hard to compete otherwise.

Last up is their VIP Club. Their club has 6 levels, which include:

• Bronze
• Silver
• Gold
• Platinum
• Ultimate
• Ultimate+

They don’t mention anything specific about perks. All they say is that members get more access to games, promotions, bonuses and terms. And, according to their terms and conditions, VIP members get to cash out larger amounts.

It sounds cool, but you won’t really know for sure until you sign up, play and get to check it out firsthand.

Box 24 works with a couple different software providers. The biggest two are Rival and Betsoft. But they also work with Parlay Entertainment, Pragmatic Play and Octopus Gaming.

What’s great about Box 24 working with a combination of software companies are all the different games you can play. Even if they’re duplicates – say, two blackjack games – they still may have slightly different rules, stakes or graphics. If you don’t like one you can simply swap it out for another.

Box 24 Casino has more than 120 casino games to choose from. We’ve listed most of them below, as well as our thoughts and any additional information about their software we think is important for you to know.

You can sort their games by alphabetical order, software provider or game type. This is handy because they have so many games. This helps you weed through them a little faster if you already know what you want to play.

What I like about their game selection are some of the games I know I haven’t seen elsewhere. For example, Royale Blackjack, Titanium Roulette and Super 7 Blackjack.

And even though Betsoft has (had) their problems, there’s no denying their 3D slots are fun to play. I’ve played them for play money just to kill time. I don’t think you can go wrong playing any of them, but the ones I played are Under the Bed, Slotfather, Madder Scientist and Frankenslot’s Monster.

As far as accessing their games, they have a download and (no download) browser casino. I usually prefer the no download, as I don’t like to clutter up my computer with games I won’t play. I also check out lots of casinos, and don’t want to slow my computer down. But keep in mind that sometimes means you’ll have fewer games to play.

You can also access their no download casino from your mobile device – no download or app is needed. I checked it out on my iPhone and it looked great. It’s also compatible with Android, while BlackBerry and Windows devices are hit and miss.

We’re through the bulk of our review. But before we wrap things up, I want to highlight a few things I like and don’t like about Box 24.

Let’s start with the good stuff.

Here are some of the things I don’t like about Box 24 Casino.

I’m not super impressed.

I do like their games. They have lots of offers, too. Between all that and their reputation, I’d love to be able to recommend them.

However, the vague bonus and bonus terms bother me. It almost looks shady. And even more so when they fail to clear things up by email.

Because of that I think it makes sense to pass on Box 24 for one of Deck Media’s other properties instead. Uptown Aces looks pretty good – their offers and terms are clear, and they accept bitcoin. They have more than 150 games, too.

You can play at Box 24 if you want. Given that it’s a Deck Media problem, I’m not expecting you to have any big problems.

Last night I had won $359 on box24casino and my wifi finished so I ended spinnning. Early morning I went back into my account looking forward to my win and was in complete shock when my account only had $0.20cents and when I enquired the support assistant I live chat looked into my account and was trying to convince me it needed recharging. A friend of mine also witnessed this whole treatment. Box24casino made me feel unsure of their casino and shut me down when I asked to many questions. This is the only way to contact somebody through email....UNHAPPY CUSTOMER... sad/disappointed.
