Our Casumo Casino Review for 2017

I had fun reviewing Casumo.

What appealed to me right off the bat is their unique and fun design. It’s not your typical casino design – full of flash, diamonds, glimmer and shine. Instead it has elements of the art deco style of design, which is one of my favorites.

Then I started to dig. Because design means nothing if you can’t trust the people behind the casino, or if what they have to offer sucks.

I found out that Casumo launched in 2012. This means they have a few years under their belt. Enough for them to establish a reputation – good or bad – so that you can decide if they’re someone who can trust your money with.

(You can.)

They’re also licensed and regulated from the Malta Gaming Authority and UK Gambling Commission. Both take online gambling seriously. Which unfortunately means that US players won’t be able to play here.

Which, as you’re about to find out, sucks for them. Because Casumo not only looks neat, but they have plenty to offer between their hundreds of games, tournaments and unique challenges.

Want to hear more about it? Then let’s jump right into it then.

Deposit Options

You can use the following banking options to fund your account:

  • Visa
  • MasterCard
  • Skrill
  • Neteller
  • Bank Transfer

This is a standard list of options. Though it’d be nice to see more options – and it’s odd there’s not more, considering they serve an international audience – most people should be able to make do with these.

One thing I found in their FAQ section is they charge a 2.5% fee on credit/debit card deposits. I don’t care for this, but I’m not surprised, either. It seems like more and more casinos are charging nominal fees on credit card deposits.

Withdrawal Options

When you’re ready to cash out your money, you can use:

  • Visa
  • Skrill
  • Neteller
  • Bank Transfer

They review and process all requests within 23 hours – though they say it’s usually much faster. From there it’ll take up to 3 days to hit/clear your account.

The minimum withdrawal amount is $10. And there are no fees on cash outs, which offsets any complaints I have about the credit card deposit fees.

They say their support is available 24/7. You can get in touch using either live chat, or by sending them an email listed below.

Casumo has one core offer you can claim – their welcome bonus. Here are the details.

Welcome Bonus

Right now they’re offering a match bonus up to $1,200. On top of that you’ll get 200 free spins.

The deposit bonus and free spins are spread out over your first 5 deposits. Here’s how that works:

  • 1st Deposit – 200% bonus up to $50 + 20 spins per day for the next 10 days
  • 2nd Deposit – 50% bonus up to $150
  • 3rd Deposit – 50% bonus up to $200
  • 4th Deposit – 25% bonus up to $400
  • 5th Deposit – 25% bonus up to $400

You’ll need to wager the bonus + deposit 25x. The free spins need to be rolled over 30x. But not all games count the same. Here’s a chart showing how much each game contributes to clearing their bonus:

Game Wagers
Slots 100%
Video Poker 30%
Casino Hold’em 10%
Oasis Poker 10%
TXS Hold’em poker 10%
Ultimate Texas Hold’em 0%
Roulette (all varieties) 0%
Baccarat (all varieties) 0%
Punto Banco 0%
Blackjack (incl Pontoon and Double Exposure) 0%
All other games 0%
Last thing – you’re limited to $5 per spin while clearing the bonus.

And that’s it.

They do have a deal they call an “adventure.” You receive points for spending time/money on Casumo – the more you play the more points you collect. Then once you accumulate so many points, you’ll move up to the next level. There’s a progress bar that shows you how far you’ve got to reach the next level.

The reason I don’t really consider this an ‘offer’ is because only sometimes you’ll receive anything for moving up, such as free cash or spins. Other times you’ll get virtual things like trophies, which is still neat, but nothing of tangible value.

Other than that, they do say in their FAQ that they award bonuses, offers and free spins – sometimes at random. You won’t know about until you log into your account.

That’s pretty cool.

They also have their challenges and tournaments, which we’ll cover next in the game section.

Casumo gets their games from several software providers. You can find the complete list on their FAQ page, where they tell you what countries are prohibited from playing specific games on their site (which comes down to who made the game):

Their list of software providers include:

  • Evolution
  • NYX (NextGen & Elk Studios)
  • IGT
  • Scientific Games (Bally, Barcrest, Williams, ShuffleMaster)
  • NetEnt
  • Quickspin
  • Thunderkick
  • Greentube
  • Microgaming
  • Play ‘n Go

This is a ridiculous list of heavy hitters. The only big software provider they’re missing is Playtech.

What this means for you is that you’ll have more than 400 games to choose from. Far too many to list here.

What we’ll do instead is list a few games from each section so you can get an idea of what to expect if you choose to play here.

After that I’ll tell you about their tournaments and challenges, as well as show you how you can access their games.

So, what games can you play at Casumo?

SlotsSlots

Some of their slots include:

  • Well of Wonders
  • Fruit Warp
  • Dancing In Rio
  • Gold Lab
  • Medieval Money
  • Turning Totems
  • Frog Grog
  • Esqueleto Explosive
  • Spectra
  • Babushkas
  • Starburst
  • Jack Hammer
  • Muse Wild Inspiration
  • The Rift
  • Sunset Delight
  • Zoom
  • Birds On A Wire
  • Flux
  • Arcader
  • Magicious
  • Toki Time
  • Gonzo’s Quest
  • Fisticuff
  • Magic Portals
  • Gold Rush
  • Magic Love

There are more than 350 slot machines. So, you can expect a healthy assortment of 3, 5 and 7-reel classic and video slots, as well as slots with features, bonus rounds and licensed titles revolving around movies, video games and pop culture icons.

Card GamesTable Games

As for table games, you can play:

  • Baccarat
  • Blackjack
  • Caribbean Stud Poker
  • Red Dog
  • Roulette
  • Scratch Cards
  • Casino Hold ‘Em
  • Golden Derby
  • Bonus Keno
  • Oasis Poker
  • TXS Hold ’em
  • Casino War
  • Single Deck Blackjack
  • Caribbean Poker
  • Killer Whale
  • Money Wheel
  • 3 Card Poker
  • Craps
  • Pai Gow Poker
  • Keno
  • Sic Bo
  • Crown and Anchor
  • Cyberstud Poker
  • Double Exposure
  • Poker Pursuit
  • Spanish Blackjack
  • Spingo
  • Three Wheeler
  • Ballistic Bingo

One thing you’ll notice is there are several duplicates. But that’s because they come from all the different software providers Casumo work with. The neat thing about this is if there are rules or graphics you don’t like, the fix could be as simple as trying the same game, but from a different software company.

Blackjack GamesLive Dealer Games

Casumo has a few live dealer games, too. Your choices include:

  • Roulette
  • Blackjack
  • Casino Hold’em
  • Baccarat
  • Ultimate Texas Hold’em

Video PokerVideo Poker

Your video poker options include:

  • Jacks or Better
  • Deuces Wild
  • Joker Wild
  • All American Poker

Their video poker selection is on the small side, but they have both single and multi-hand variants ranging from 1 to 100 hands.

Specialty GamesSpecialty Games

Their ‘other’ games include:

  • Tribble
  • Marbles
  • Keno
  • Golden derby
  • Bingo
  • Bonus keno

There you have it.

Overall – this is a drop in the bucket – there are hundreds more games for you to check out. You’ll have to see it for yourself to fully appreciate it.

Note:

It was a bit difficult for me to check out all their games since they prohibit anyone from restricted countries (per the software provider) from even looking at their games. And since I’m from the US, I’m on most restricted lists. So, if you can’t find certain games, there’s a possibility you’re from a country that’s not allowed to play it. The best way to know for sure is to check out their FAQ page.

Anyway, this should give you a good idea of what games you can play, as well as how well-rounded Casumo is. You’ll find at least a little bit of everything here.

But we’re not done yet. Casumo offers two other things I want to tell you about – their tournaments and Casino Challenges.

These are your standard slot tournaments. Casumo calls their Reel Races.

Their slot tournaments are fast-paced. The goal is to win as many time as you can in the time allotted. The more you win, the more points you get. The points you accumulate will determine your spot on their leaderboard, as well as the prizes you can win.

They host tournaments often (daily), and are free to join. Better yet, there’s no limit on how many Reel Races you can join.

Casumo Challenges are another kind of casino race where the goal is to complete missions in as few spins as possible. Missions unlock different rewards – the best prizes go to the top 30 players who complete challenges the fastest.

Some of the different missions include:

  • Total Spins – Spin a number of times in any slot to complete the mission.
  • Total Wins – Win x number of times to complete the mission.
  • Total Wins in a Row – Win x times in a row.
  • Total Big Wins – Collect so many Big Wins to complete the mission.
  • Total Mega Wins – Collext x Mega Wins to complete this mission.

You can choose the challenge you want to try to complete. But once you choose one, you cannot change it. You’ll have to complete it before moving to another.

Like tournaments, challenges are free to enter, and there are several running throughout the day. There are different modes too – easy, medium and hardcore – all of which have different prizes.

Another thing I like about Casumo is there’s no download. You play all their games from your browser.

That goes for your mobile device, too. Simply go to their site from your phone or tablet and they’ll redirect you to their mobile site automatically. I checked it out – their mobile site looks and functions just as well as their desktop casino.

I found nothing bad to report. In fact, nearly everything I found was positive.

For example:

  • Casumo is a Casinomeister.com Accredited Casino. Their reasons include top-notch customer service, fast payouts, weekend payouts, no cash out limits, and more.
  • ThePogg.com recommends them, too. And if you’ve read their reviews, you know a recommendation is far and few between.
  • And even though they have 9 complaints on AskGamblers.com, all of them have been resolved. Not only that, but every single complaint I checked out Casumo staff responded to.
  • They’re endorsed by the Wizard of Odds.
The bottom line – they have above average reviews, a stellar reputation, and it’s clear they care about their customers.

I’ve reviewed so many casinos over the past 8 years it’s tough to impress me. Especially since few casinos are truly unique.

But Casumo impresses me. Here’s why:

  • I like their design - They clearly stand out in a sea of bling-bling, diamonds and glitter.
  • I like their software - They work with the best-of-the-best software companies; they’re an instant play casino; and they’re mobile-friendly.
  • I like how many unique games they offer - They tick all the boxes, too – you can play video poker, table games, live dealer games, slots, scratch cards, and more.
  • I like their support - They responded to complaints on a public forum. That’s not easy to do – it takes both effort and patience.
  • I like their reputation - They’re accredited, recommend or endorsed on all the top sites. AND they’ve won 3 awards from 2013 to 2015 from EGR for Rising Star and Innovative Casino.

If you’re from the old school of thought, you might ding them for not having enough promotions. But I’d disagree – I like how they have a deposit bonus and nothing else. Because instead of having tons of reload offers that prevent you from cashing out until you fulfill the terms, they have fun tournaments and challenges. Not only that, but there are several of each running daily, they’re free to enter, and there’s no limit to how many you can participate in.

This offers a ton of replay value – aka a reason to come back and play – that you’ll have a hard time finding at other casinos.

Honestly, my biggest complaint is that players from the United States can’t play here.

But if you can play here, you should. Casumo Casino offers a nice change of pace from 99% of the other casinos we review here at play-casino-games-now.com. Check them out today.
