Our 2017 Jumba Bet Casino Review

Jumba Bet is a new casino from Funky Fortunes. They only just launched in 2016.

Stop. We know what you’re thinking.

Hearing ‘new casino’ triggers an alarm for most people. We totally understand, it does for us, too. You can never be too careful when dealing with an unknown casino – especially one who accepts American players.

But because you can never have too many safe and legit US-friendly casinos, we thought it’d be a good idea to check them out and write up a review. That way you can make an educated decision as to whether or not Jumba Bet is worthy of your attention in 2017.

Let’s get to it.

(US Customers Welcomed)
Device Compatibility:
  • Website – www.jumbabet.com
  • Was launched in 2016
  • Licensed by Curacao
  • Email - [email protected]
  • Telephone - 0-800-911-620
  • SSL Encryption
  • Large Variety of Games
  • Crisp Graphics
  • Accepts US Players
  • U.K. Players Restricted

Jumba accepts deposits from the following methods:

  • Visa debit, credit, prepaid and gift cards.
  • MasterCard debit, credit, prepaid and gift cards.
  • Ecopayz
  • Upaycard
  • Poli

They also offer helpful advice if your credit/debit card isn’t working. For example, they suggest:

  • Using your card at least 5 times (before contacting support) with 15 minutes between each attempt.
  • Entering an odd amount, such as $53 or $121, as these have a better chance of going through.
  • Making a larger deposit, as these have less of a chance of being rejected.

This is extremely helpful advice given that rejection is a common hurdle for Americans trying to gamble online. I also like how they accept all forms of plastic – credit, debit, prepaid and gift cards. That said, they almost have to, because the only options Americans can use are Visa, MasterCard and Upaycard (a lesser known e-wallet). They don’t accept bank wires, money transfers or bitcoin – all useful options for Americans. They’re a new casino, so we’ll cut them some slack here. But we hope adding an option or two (preferably bitcoin) is on their to-do list for 2017.

Withdrawals

Here are the cash out options:

  • Courier Check / $30 fee / 5 business days
  • Check / $15.71 fee / 21 business days
  • Credit Card / $7 fee / 6-8 business days
  • Web Wallets / $0 fee / instant delivery

The minimum cash out is $100 (according to their terms), except for players from the United Kingdom, Denmark, and Greece – the minimum for them is $50. Before you can request a cash out, however, you will need to send in a few documents proving your identity, as well as getting on a quick phone call with them. They recommend you do all this 14 days BEFORE you request your first cash out. Last – they have weekly cash out limits. Your limits depend on your VIP tier:

  • Sapphire - $1,500 per week until paid in full.
  • Ruby - $2,500 per week until paid in full.
  • Emerald - $3,500 per week until paid in full.
  • Diamond - $5,000 per week until paid in full.

This is sort of a mixed bag. Limits suck, but these are better than what you’ll find at some other US-facing casinos. But only if you spend and play enough to reach the higher VIP tiers. This is sort of scary. You don’t know who these people are, but yet the only way you can cash out larger sums is to spend enough money with them to achieve their higher VIP tiers. That takes trust, but trust is a 2-way street and takes time to build. And we couldn’t find anything about how they handle jackpot winnings. Some casinos don’t apply their limits to progressive wins. But since Jumba doesn’t mention progressives in their terms, it’s safe to say their limits above would apply.

Please Note:

This might not be too big a deal since they only have one progressive jackpot machine as of January, 2017.

Here are the details for each of Jumba Bet’s evergreen offers.

Welcome Offer

Their welcome offer starts with $25 free cash, no deposit required. Then they have their deposit bonus, which is done over 4 separate deposits, like this:

  • 150% up to $450
  • 100% up to $250
  • 100% up to $250
  • 100% up to $250

You can claim as much as $1,225 between the free cash and deposit bonus.

Daily Offers

On top of their welcome offer, Jumba also offers the following daily deposit bonuses and free spin offers.

Sunday, Monday & Saturday

Get 50 free spins on The Last Pharaoh slot machine on top of the following deposit bonuses:

  • 25% up to $100
  • 50% up to $100
  • 75% up to $150

You can take advantage of each bonus twice.

Tuesday & Wednesday

You can take advantage of two deposit bonuses:

  • 50% up to $200
  • 75% up to $150

Like the offer above, you can use each one twice.

Thursday

They offer two deposit bonuses:

  • 100% up to $200
  • 50% up to $200

They say nothing about frequency, so I assume you can use these only one time (each).

Friday

They offer two deposit bonuses:

  • 125% match up to $125
  • 75% match up to $100

Again, they say nothing about frequency. So, I think it’s safe to assume you can use each one only once. That covers their main bonus and daily offers. But they also offer monthly ‘themed’ promotions. Since these change every month, it’ll make sense to bookmark their promos page so you never miss them.

VIP Program

Jumba Bet has a multi-tier loyalty program, too. They cover all the . Some of the perks include free cash, birth day bonus and leaderboard competitions.

Detailed List of Jumba Bet's VIP Program

As much as I like seeing a multi-tier VIP program, the downside is their lack of history. To earn a higher VIP status, you have to spend more money. But that takes trust, which is harder to come by when you’re brand new in this industry. That said, this type of VIP program is a great thing to have for the long haul. It encourages players to stick around and play more, so they can earn more perks.

Promotion Terms

Here are the general terms for their offers. The standard playthrough for their bonuses is 40x the bonus. This is reasonable. But the playthrough depends on the game you’re playing. Here’s their chart that says how much a bet on each game applies to your playthrough.

  • Slots 100%
  • Roulette 50%
  • Three Card Poker 50%
  • Baccarat 25%
  • Video Poker 10%
  • Blackjack 5%
  • Keno 100%

One thing that caught my eye is this – new players are restricted from using their match offers to play table and video poker games for their first 3 deposits. It’s sort of a weird rule, but I’m guessing it’s there to protect them from advantage players or bonus hunters. But that’s their main bonus rollover. Here are a few other important terms I spotted:

  • Max cash out on free spins and no deposit offers is $100. They also have max cash out limits for their birthday bonuses (and other loyalty program offers), which is based on your VIP level.
  • They reserve the right to close accounts, refuse promotions and to reclaim winnings/bonuses for failed audits when, at their discretion, a player has tried to abuse their offers or defraud them.
  • You can only clear one bonus/offer at a time.

It’s sort of scary when they say they reserve the right to close your account or reclaim winnings/bonuses at any time – all of which is at management’s discretion. But only time will tell if they’ll abuse this power – we’ve heard nothing negative so far.

Jumba Bet’s software and games comes from software provider, Saucify. While I don’t have a ton of experience with this software, what I can say is that it’s nice to see something different in the (offshore) US market. It’s not Real Time Gaming, Rival Gaming or BetSoft. So, if you needed a reason to try a new casino …there you go.

Here’s a list of the games they offer and our commentary:

Table Games

  • Atlantic City Blackjack
  • Vegas Strip Blackjack
  • European Blackjack
  • Single Deck Blackjack
  • European Roulette
  • Baccarat
  • 3 Card Poker
  • Keno
  • Scratch Cards

The good news is they have some blackjack variations I can’t recall seeing at any Real Time or Rival Gaming casino.

The bad news is this is the most pitiful table game selection I’ve seen. Most US-facing rooms have between 15-25 games (including all their blackjack variations). There’s not even 10 games here.

Slots

  • Midnight Racer
  • Zodiac
  • Bucksy Malone
  • Double Trouble
  • Elemental 7
  • Age of Spartans
  • Big Game
  • Buckin Broncos
  • Lucky Lerechauns
  • Aladdins Loot
  • Reelin & Rockin
  • Captain Shockwave
  • Code 211
  • Fistful of Dollars
  • Frontside Spins
  • Football Fever
  • Cosmopolitan
  • Gems n Jewels
  • Road Trip Max Ways
  • Rising Sun
  • Trick or Treat
  • Wild Berry
  • Wild Wizards
  • Royal Banquet
  • Legends of Greece
  • Nascash
  • Legends of Olympia
  • Horn of Plenty
  • Monkey Business
  • Perfect Date
  • Pieces of Eight
  • Reef Encounter
  • Reels of Rock
  • The Purse of the Mummy
  • Pina Nevada
  • Peek Physique
  • Roll Up! Roll Up!
  • Tomahawk
  • Worlds at War
  • Small Soldiers
  • Road Trip

They have a decent selection of video slots with several fun themes you won’t find at other US casinos. The biggest letdown is how they only have 1 progressive slot machine.

Video Poker

  • Jacks or Better
  • Bonus Poker
  • Double Bonus Poker
  • Double Double Bonus Poker
  • Triple Double Bonus Poker
  • Deuces Wild
  • Aces & Faces
  • Bonus Deuces Wild
  • Joker Poker
  • Deuces & Joker Poker

This is a good selection of video poker games. Definitely on par with Real Time Gaming and Rival Gaming casinos.

Overall, they say they have 130 games. We didn’t find 130 games – only what’s listed above – but that’s because they have both a browser casino and download (which we didn’t check out). So, I assume the only way you get access to all their games is to download their software.

I only used their browser casino, which I liked. One thing that stood out to me is how easy it is to browse their games. And, if you want more information about a game, all you have to do is click it and a small window will pop up. It’ll tell you how many decks are used, what the max payout is, and any special rules the game will have (like how many times you can split or double down in blackjack).

The browser casino will also be the only option for mobile devices. The good news is their casino is compatible with Apple, Android and BlackBerry-powered devices. The bad news is that their browser casino has fewer games than their download (because they left out common options like craps, keno and several table games).

Hopefully ‘add more games to browser casino’ is another item on their to-do list for 2017.

You can contact Jumba Bet’s support 24/7/365 using one of the following options:

Envelope
Europe: 0-800-911-620
Australia: 1-800-286-327
Canada: 1-855-745-1441

They have live chat, too. From my experience this is usually the best option, so I’d start there if you have any questions or run into any problems.

Now that we’ve covered all the important stuff, here’s what we think are the best and worst things about Jumba Bet.

Pros
  • They accept all forms of Visa/MasterCard – and give you tips for how to get around bank rejections.
  • Their games come from Saucify, an otherwise less popular/used software company. This gives Americans a fresh set of games they may not have played before.
  • No download required. You play from your browser. This means they’re compatible with more devices than download-only casinos, including Android, Apple and BlackBerry mobile devices, on top of Windows, Apple and Linux operating systems.
  • They have plenty of offers between their free cash bonus, welcome deposit bonus, daily bonuses and VIP program.
Cons
  • They don’t accept other common (American) banking options, such as bitcoin, MoneyGram, Western Union or bank wires.
  • They’re a brand-new casino. It’s hard to trust any casino who’s been around for 12 months or less in this space.
  • They only have one progressive slot machine.
  • They have weekly cash out limits which are based on VIP status.
  • You have to download their software to access all their games.

So, what’s our overall opinion of Jumba Bet?

It’s nice to see a casino who uses different software – especially in the US market – because it’s easy to get burnt out when every casino offers the same games.

However, the downside here is you’ll have to download Jumba’s software to get them all. Considering how many casinos are moving towards HTML5 (where no download is required), it sort of seems as if Jumba is moving backwards.

I’m also not a fan of the weekly deposit limits based on VIP tiers. This requires more trust than I feel is justified for a brand new casino.

But, overall, Jumba Bet is off to a good start with no clear problems or complaints that we could find. If you can get past the download and weekly cash out limits, then I see no reason not to give them a shot. Though, I do recommend starting slow, and only if you have an account or two at one of our top-tier US casinos.

I've been playing in this casino lately, I enjoy playing their games, (something different). I am waiting on my first withdrawal that I requested on 07/06/2017. I've sent in all documents and the withdrawal was processed and about 5 days later I get a phone call and they say it will be delayed and I should receive it by the middle of next week. I like this casino and I hope everything goes well with my withdrawal. The people in live chat are nice and answered all of my questions. I appreciated the call from Liam, that made me feel like they are an honest casino. I will continue to play at this casino and so far I will recommend anyone to try it out.I will give another review next week when I see how everything goes!
