Rizk Casino Review for 2017

Welcome to our 2017 Rizk Casino Review.

Rizk is a newer casino (they launched in 2016). But, before you freak out, just know that they’re not brand-spanking new. They DO have experience.

A few years ago, the company behind Rizk launched Guts Casino. If you’ve never heard of Guts before, they’re a Casinomeister Accredited Casino who won the Best Casino of 2014 from Casinomeister.com. Casinomeister summed them up like this:

Solid, well managed casino - stellar operator - unique promotions and rewards program.”

So, we have no reason to think Rizk Casino will be any different.

But we’ll let you be the judge of that. Go on, read our review and see what you think.

Before we get into the review, let’s quickly cover who cannot play at Rizk. And that includes people from the following countries:

They also have several location-specific banking options which, if available to you, you’ll see once you’re logged in.

They have no cash out limits, either. And, according to our sources, they process and ship cash outs fast – part of which is likely due to them processing payments over the weekend.

You can’t complain about any of that.

If you have any questions you can reach out to them via the following methods.

Right now Rizk only has 2 core promotions. Here are the details for each one.

Welcome Bonus

This is a 200% match bonus up to $100. On top of that you’ll get 50 free spins, which they divvy out at the pace of 10 spins per day (for 5 days total).

You’ll also get a free spin on the Wheel of Rizk. You’ll have a chance to can earn prizes ranging from 10 free spins to as much as $25 cash. The neat thing is that all winnings from the Wheel of Rizk have NO rollover requirements.

Okay, so what’s the catch?

Rizk’s welcome bonus has a 45x rollover. The max bet is capped at $5, too, but there is NO cap on winnings or withdrawals. You’ll also want to remember to login every day to claim your free spins because they expire after 24 hours. Your bonus expires after 30 days.

Please Note:

Like all casinos, not every game will unlock your bonus at the same rate. Here’s how it works at Rizk:

  • Slots and other games = 100%
  • All games in the “classic slots” category = 75%
  • Bloodsuckers, 1429 Uncharted Seas, Jackpot Jester 6000, Jackpot Jester Wild Nudge = 75%
  • All tables games and live casino games = 10%
  • All video poker = 0%

It’s disappointing to see that table games contribute so little to clearing your bonus. And worse yet, that video poker doesn’t count at all.

But there is a tradeoff. For example, Rizk doesn’t cap winnings, cash outs or any rollover on what you win on their Wheel of Rizk. Ultimately, you’ll have to choose what’s more important to you.

My thoughts – their bonus is small. But I’d rather have small and relatively easy to clear, than something large, risky and impossible to clear. At least you know you won’t be spending hundreds of thousands of dollars trying to clear their bonus.

Wheel of Rizk

This is a neat promotion. According to Rizk Casino, the Wheel of Rizk is like the Wheel of Fortune …but about a million times cooler.

It is neat, I’ll give them that. Here’s some info about how it works:

All the games you play at Rizk will contribute to a power bar. Once that power bar is full – after you play enough games – you’ll get a free spin on the Wheel of Rizk. The more you bet, the more you play, the faster it fills up.

The cool thing is that for every time you fill up the bar, you “power up.” Each time you power up, the prizes you can win on the Wheel get better. Every 10th level you climb your next spin will be worth double the prize.

Prizes can be free spins and money. And everything you win is free and clear – there are no rollover requirements.

Overall, I think this is a neat promotion. It’s something so simple, yet it’ll keep you coming back to the casino just so you can earn another free spin.

Anyway, that’s it for their ongoing promotions. But that’s not the end of their offers.

Rizk offers several limited time deals, which you can find on their “Rizk Insider” page. If you choose to play here, it’ll probably make sense to bookmark this page so you’re always in the loop.

For example, a couple of the offers they have running now include:

  • Beauty & The Beast slot tournament
  • Rizk Race – Every time you level up on the Wheel of Rizk power bar, you receive points. Accumulate points to earn yourself a spoton their Rizk Race leaderboard. Place high enough and you can earn yourself a piece of a $7,777 prize pool.

You can also scroll the archives to see all the promotions they’ve offered in the past. There have been many, ranging from holiday-specific deals to free spins to raffles. Seeing all these deals gives you an idea of what to expect from them in the future.

Rizk Casino only offers a casino. So, in order for them to gain any traction in this industry they have to have an extensive game section.

I think they managed to pull it off, too.

And that’s because they’ve had plenty of help. They work with BetSoft, Microgaming, NetEnt, NextGen, WMS, Evolution Gaming and plenty of others to bring you hundreds of casino games.

One thing I liked about their site is how neat and organized their games are. At the top of their page they have everything categorized into the following sections:

  • Latest Releases
  • Captain Rizk’s Picks
  • Live Casino
  • Featured Games
  • All Time Favorites
  • Rising Stars
  • Jackpot
  • Have You Tried?
  • Hollywood
  • Horror
  • Action and Adventure
  • Lucky’s Choice
  • Nights and Lights
  • Classic Slots
  • Table Games
  • Video Poker
Sounds good, am I right?

Now, they have far too many games to list here – more than 400. So, what we’ll do instead is pick a few titles from most of the categories above (not all of them to avoid too much overlap). That way you can get a good idea of what they have to offer.

Let’s get started.

When you scroll through their live dealer games you’ll notice they have lots of duplicate titles. But I think that’s primarily because of all the (live dealer) software companies they work with. And besides, many of the duplicate games are still different when you consider they have different dealers, stakes, rules, and so on.

Okay, back to the games.

That’s it. But like I said, there are plenty more – this is just a glimpse. There are TONS of other titles, as well as variations of their table and video poker games.

You’ll also notice they have lots of licensed and otherwise themed games – most, if not all in their slots section. A few I see revolve around celebrities, movies, TV shows, comics and games.

For example:

  • South Park
  • Wonky Wabbits
  • Elements the Awakening
  • Pimped
  • Justice League
  • Superman
  • Batman

However, one thing I don’t like – and am slightly curious about – are the slots they have from BetSoft. For example, I saw:

  • Heist
  • Greedy Goblins
  • Mr Vegas
  • After Night Falls
  • Mad Scientist
  • Poker 3

I don’t like this because BetSoft was recently involved in some bad press when they decided not to pay out a progressive jackpot winner. And apparently, this might be due to a bug / machine malfunction.

So, considering all the praise Rizk has had, it’s sort of confusing to see them working with a software company like BetSoft who’s had issues recently.

Granted, you don’t have to play their (BetSoft’s) progressive, but if that’s the case, then why have them at all? And, why not post a warning so your customers can make an informed decision?

That’s really my only complaint about Rizk’s game section.

There are a couple of other things I want to cover about Rizk’s game section and software.

One of the things I liked about their game section is how you can click on each of the games to learn more about them. For example, here’s the summary given when I clicked on the South Park slot machine:

Come on down to South Park, they said. Have yourself a time, they said. Yeah, they lied. All we saw when we got there was a talking turd, a chef with a questionable selection of food and a little fat kid who needs a bloody good kicking. We think the plane might have crashed and this could be hell…

They take this approach with all their games. It’s neat, and helpful if you’re unfamiliar with online casino games.

That said, what I’d like to see added is more specific information about the game – the type of game it is, how to play, what the stakes are, and more. I think that information would be a bit more helpful than a cute summary of the characters behind the game.

But who knows, maybe that’s just me.

Another important thing to quickly cover is their mobile casino. Rizk published an update in October 2016 where they said they now had an iOS app.

I didn’t check the app out, but it doesn’t seem necessary anyway. Because I checked out their website from my (Apple) phone and everything looked great.

I couldn’t play the games since I’m in the US. Every time I tried I got an error that said ‘restricted games.’

That said, it looks like they have tons of games to choose from. Not their entire desktop library, but still more than enough to keep you busy. And they’re all easy to find, too, between the categories listed above, their drop-down filter and search bar.

My thoughts? I like Rizk Casino.

For one thing, they have a fun brand – Captain Rizk – which I suspect will be fun to watch grow. You can see little hints of how they use this branding throughout their website. For example, on their about page – where they give you their email address – they say,

We’ll light the Rizk Signal and alert The Captain.

That’s so much more fun and memorable than your standard and terribly boring corporate speak. I mean, which of the two are you going to remember most? And, when the time comes, who are you going to give your money to?

I think the answer’s obvious.

Even ThePogg.com recommends them. Which is surprising because they hardly seem to like anybody.

Now, this isn’t all to say Rizk Casino is perfect. They’re not – there are things I think they can improve. Let me give you a few examples.

  • They limit you to $5 per bet while using their bonus.
  • The 30-day time frame (for their bonus) is short.
  • Their bonus is a bit small. It’s definitely not as exciting as the thousands of dollars other casinos offer.
  • You can’t play video poker to clear their bonus.
  • They offer games from BetSoft (who recently has had problems).
  • They charge (nominal) fees on their cash outs.

But most, if not all of these complaints are minor, and something we might see Rizk iron out as they continue to grow.

Overall though, you can’t overlook the buzz they’ve managed to generate in such a noisy and seemingly saturated industry. And for all the right reasons.

For that reason I think it’s worth your time to head over and check them out for yourself.
