Welcome to our Slots.lv review.
If you’re in the market for a licensed and regulated casino who pays their customers fast, then I’ll cut to the chase and tell you we recommend you check Slots.lv out.
They’re that good. As far as offshore casinos go anyway.
But Slots.lv has been online since 2013, and hasn’t had any major issues in that time. Between that and their ties to Bodog / Bovada, and it’s clear to see why it’s so easy for us to recommend them.
However, if you’re not convinced, or if you need more than some rambling reviewers’ recommendation – which is no problem, I understand entirely – then may I suggest you read our review below.
It should give you everything you need to make an educated decision.
Who Can Play Here?
Before we get into the review, let’s first cover who can and cannot play at Slots.lv.
Right now Slots.lv accepts players from Canada and the United States, with the exception of those residing in the province of Quebec, New Jersey, Maryland or New York state.
One thing that sort of sucks is how few options you have for funding your Slots.lv account. Those options include:
Americans are limited to credit cards or bitcoin. That said, those ARE the easiest options for Americans to use, the fastest and most likely to clear, too.
Deposit limits are $20-$1,000 for all options except bitcoin, which has a max of $5,000. Keep in mind these are ‘new player’ limits. Slots.lv says some limits can increase based on your VIP status or Rewards Program level.
When ready, you can cash out your winnings using:
All of these max limits are for new players, too, and are par for offshore US casinos. VIP members will have limits $500 higher for each option, except for bank wires which is $9,500 (+$7,000) and Rapid Transfer, which is the same regardless of level.
You’re limited to one cash out per method every 7 days. Except bitcoin users – they can request a cash out every 3 days.
You can contact support by:
They also have a robust, yet easy to use FAQ section on their site. Everything is categorized so it’s quick to find answers to your questions. They cover all the basic questions people ask.
Slots.lv has several promotions running right now. So, let’s start with their ongoing offers.
This offer is spread out over your first 9 deposits. Here’s how that works:
All-in-all, you can receive as much as $7,500 if you use bitcoin to fund your account. You’ll need to playthrough this bonus 35x the deposit and bonus – which is a tad steep.
This is similar to the bitcoin bonus above, but for all other banking methods. This, too, is spread out over your first 9 deposits. Here’s how it works:
This offer has a 35x playthrough (deposit + bonus), too.
Like all other casinos, with most offers not all games will clear offers at the same rate. And if any offer looks too rich for your blood, you can forfeit the bonus by clicking on the ‘Forfeit Bonus’ button located in your player account.
For every $1 you spend playing slots, and for every $4 you spend playing all other casino games, you will earn 1 MySlots Reward Point. These points are used to determine your VIP status.
There are 8 different tiers. The following are those tiers, in order from lowest to highest, along with requirements to reach those levels:
Like all other VIP programs, the further up you go the more perks you can earn. Here’s an idea of what you can get from their program:
To maintain your status all you need to do is earn the same number of points required to enter the level, but only every 3 months.
For example, you need 2,000 points within 1 month to go from Depositor to Signature. That’s going to set you back at least $2,000, and as much as $4,000.
But once you hit that level you only need to earn 667 points per month to maintain that status. You can earn your points at any pace, of course. But if you wanted to spread it out then this allows you to do that.
Another thing – points are converted to cash at the (default) rate of $1 for every 1,000 points. This is a bit on the steep side, as I’ve seen conversions at 100 to $1 at other casinos. But at the same time, none of them offered extensive multi-tier VIP programs, either. So, there’s a bit of a tradeoff there.
Anyway, you can see all the perks, conversion rates and what bonuses and limits increase to on the Slots.lv’s rewards page.
You’ll receive (up to) $200 for every person you send to Slots.lv. If you’re a Superior VIP level or higher you’re eligible for an additional offer. For every person you send, you’ll get a 300% match bonus up to $300 the day after your free chip.
This is a neat program and a bit more in-depth than most.
And that’s it for their core offers. But Slots.lv does have a few limited time deals running, too.
For example:
I expect these to change pretty often. So, if you decide to play here it’ll probably be a good idea to bookmark their promo page and/or hop onto their email list.
Slots.lv game library is the strongest thing about them – as it should be.
They have more than 400 games due to working with both Rival and Real Time Gaming. Our sources say they have a few proprietary games in the mix, too.
Unfortunately, since the last time we’ve reviewed them, they’ve gotten rid of any BetSoft games. This is (probably) due to some of BetSoft’s shenanigans. Which sucks big time, because their games are entertaining and visually appealing. But that doesn’t matter if they don’t pay their winners.
Here are the games they DO have, as well as any thoughts we have about them.
You’ll notice the bulk of their library is made up of slots. So, if you’re a slots fanatic, chances are you’re going to be real, REAL happy here. Especially considering they offer a little bit of everything, ranging from 3D slots to video slots, classic slots and 3 or 5-reel slots. There are more than 200 overall.
This is a good selection of table games. There are fewer blackjack variations than some other casinos – I count only 6 – but not by much. And I’m willing to overlook it because there’s so many other games to play. I think many blackjack aficionados would agree with me.
This is an okay selection. It’s a shortlist of unique video poker games, followed by multiple variations of each one. But the only people who’re going to complain, if anyone, are video poker enthusiasts.
I’d be happy with this list.
This is a modest list of specialty games. What I like about it, though, is how there’s a little bit of everything. You can play scratch cards, bingo, keno and Sudoku. It’s not too weighted towards any one game, like bingo or scratch tickets, like I feel so many other casinos make the mistake of doing.
And that’s it for their core games.
Overall, I like what they have here. You might find a couple less blackjack or video poker variants than at other casinos, but I don’t think it’s a big deal. And, obviously, slots players will LOVE IT here.
My biggest complaint – they don’t have any live dealer games. Fingers crossed they read this and add them in the future.
You can play all their games from your browser. All you need is Safari, Chrome or Internet Explorer, and you’ll be good to go.
You can play their games from your mobile phone or tablet, too. I only checked them out on a newer iPhone, and while I didn’t count them all, I’d guess that at least 80% of the games from their desktop casino are available on mobile. You know how huge this is if you’re at all familiar with online gambling.
I also liked how organized everything is. You can simply click the type of game you want to play, be it slots, table games or video poker. But you can also click the dropdown menu in their breadcrumb navigation to narrow your search even further. For example, you can choose Reel Series slots, i-Slots, progressive slots, video slots, and more, to quickly comb through 100+ slot machines.
Extremely helpful, indeed.
I recommend Slots.lv. They’re an excellent, safe choice for Americans who want to gamble online, but aren’t yet able to gamble at legal, regulated online casinos.
I couldn’t find any glaring reasons not to recommend them, either. No scam complaints or scandals. They have a pretty clean background.
Of course, they’re not perfect. No one is. I’d like to see them lower their bonus wager requirements, for one thing. A few more banking options would be good, too.
But between their track record, positive ties to Bovada/Bodog, and a laundry list of 400+ casino games, I honestly see no reason why you shouldn’t create an account there now – with the exception of Bovada (sports/casino) or Ignition Casino (poker/casino) being a better fit.
